As Sponsorship Coordinator for Matsuri Brisbane, I work with businesses and community partners whose support helps make the festival possible. I enjoy building connections between sponsors, visitors, and the community through a shared appreciation of Japanese culture. 

Hello! Greg here. Are you looking forward to this year's Matsuri Brisbane performances as much as I am? You may see me at the festival, I'll be the one managing the Sakura Stage one minute, and madly running off to play taiko the next. There will be J-Rock and J-Pop, traditional dance and martial arts performances. There will be fun, there will be laughter. The only tears will be of the joyful kind. Don't miss it!

2025年の祭りブリスベンでは演者として参加し、あのイベントの熱気にやられ今年の2026年は運営に携われたらと思い、参加、みなさんと熱い祭りブリスベンを作れたら嬉しいです！

2回目のcommitteeとして、日豪友好協力基本条約50周年という特別な年に関われてとても嬉しいです。SNS担当として祭ブリスベンの魅力をしっかり届けたいと思っています。当日は帰国済みで参加できないのは悔しいところですが、ブリスベン留学の集大成として最後まで頑張ります！

I’m really excited to be part of the committee again, especially in this special 50th anniversary year of the Japan–Australia friendship. As part of the SNS team, I’m looking forward to sharing the festival’s energy. Although I’ll be returning to Japan on the day, I’ll give it my all as the final chapter of my time in Brisbane! 

こんにちは！My name is Joyce, and I am really excited to be part of Matsuri Brisbane as a committee member. This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Japan and Australia. We are excited to bring everyone together through a variety of activities and events to celebrate this special occasion. Come and join us!

This year, I’ll be involved with the Matsuri GenZ-A Project, Sponsorship, and Website teams.

I’ve been volunteering with Matsuri Brisbane for the past four years, and this will be my final year with the Matsuri🥲 As a way of giving back to a community that has given me so much, I’m excited to do my best to help create an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone!

Hi, I’m Naoko, and this is my third year being involved with Matsuri Brisbane after starting as a volunteer. I manage the festival’s newsletters and event ticketing pages. Living away from Japan has made me appreciate the value of Japanese culture and community even more. I hope Matsuri Brisbane creates opportunities for connection, celebration, and wonderful memories for everyone!

Welcome to Matsuri Brisbane! As the coordinator for retail and service stalls, I am delighted to help create connections between exhibitors and visitors. We hope you enjoy discovering unique products, services, cultural experiences, and new friendships throughout the festival. Enjoy the day and have fun! 

日豪友好50周年という特別な年に、また祭ブリスベンに関わることができて、とても光栄です。ステージパフォーマンスをはじめとした様々な企画を通して、今年の祭はより一層盛り上がること間違い無しです！

I am delighted to be part of the Matsuri team again for this special year. Matsuri Brisbane 2026 will definitely more exciting than ever, with amazing stage performances and special activities for everyone to enjoy! 

SNSを担当させて頂いています。祭ブリスベンは、日本文化を通じて人と人、人と地域をつなぐコミュニティイベントです。来場者の皆さまにイベントの魅力をお届けできるよう、日々情報発信に取り組んでいます。当日、たくさんの笑顔と出会えることを楽しみにしています。ぜひ会場でお会いしましょう！

昨年は参加者として楽しませていただいた祭りブリスベンに、今年はサブコミッティーの一員として参加させていただくことになりました！

より多くの方に日本文化の魅力に触れていただき、人と人とのつながりが生まれるようなイベントとなるよう、微力ながらお手伝いさせていただきます。

今年初めて祭サブコミッティー/Gen-Z Aプロジェクトに加わりましたニーナです。ブリスベンにいる日本人の皆様に昔ながらの、そして多種多様なイベントを盛り込んだ祭をお届けしたいと思っています。そして、日本文化に興味を持っていただけてるブリスベン在住の皆様の思い出に残るような楽しいイベントを作っていきたいです。 

It's my first time being part of the Matsuri Brisbane, I am grateful for the opportunity to apply my marketing knowledge to this event.
